Assignment Terms Finder

Search these short definitions to tell common student documents apart. The glossary explains terms; it does not validate a particular paper, course code, deadline or eligibility.

Assignment question paper

The document that lists the questions for a particular course and applicable session. Match its course code and session with current official information before drafting.

Assignment session or validity

The session or period shown on an assignment paper. Read the paper's own validity details and confirm them against the current official source for your programme.

Course code

The identifier printed for a course. Similar-looking codes can refer to different courses; compare the full code rather than relying on a cleaned or reformatted label.

Study material

Course learning units or chapters used to understand topics. It helps with preparation but is different from the assignment paper that lists the questions.

Previous question paper

A past term-end examination paper for practice. It is not the current tutor-marked assignment question paper, even when a course code looks similar.

Submission acknowledgement

A receipt or status record issued by the student's own centre or process. A blank sample form is not proof that work was submitted or accepted.
